Health & Safety Training > Emergency Sub-Contractor Safety Training
National Construction Installation Company
In construction, sometimes emergencies arise that
require immediate attention that the construction
company is not set up to handle. In this instance, SES
was capable and available to meet the client needs in
their emergency.
The construction installation company had hired
sub-contractors for part of the project work. The
sub-contractor received several inspections from OSHA
with multiple citations. The job was in danger of being
shut down unless training and safe work practices could
be immediately addressed.
SES flew out the day we received the call to be
on-site with the sub-contractor construction crew. We
were able to observe work practices, complete an on-site
inspection, then on-site training. At then end of the
work day, SES gave a classroom training to address
safety issues in addition to those addressed on site.
The outcome of the emergency was the work-site safety
dramatically improved and the construction company did
not loose the job. The general contractor was pleased
with the safety precautions and training that were
implemented.
