SES assisted a national printing company in changing company views about safety in order reduce the frequency and cost of injuries/illnesses. Initially, SES conducted a Safety Focus Report to assess the situation. The Safety Focus Report included: a review of all current safety and health programs, training, recordkeeping, workers compensation data, production process information, and employee interviews.

The next step was forming a Safety Focus Group to lead the company in prioritizing safety issues. SES led, trained and facilitated the Safety Focus Group though identification of weaknesses, strengths, goals, strategic safety planning and implementation.

The printing company reduced the frequency of injuries by more than 50% and eliminated the costs associated with those injuries.
